Family-Friendly Bhutan 8 Days

An eight-day Bhutan trip designed for families with children aged 8 and up: archery, white-water rafting (grade I-II), Tiger's Nest with pony support for kids, a cooking class, and a slower overall pace.

About this trip

Bhutan welcomes children, and a family trip here works wonderfully when paced for younger travelers. We schedule shorter activity blocks, lots of outdoor time, and child-friendly experiences: archery and folk dance at the Simply Bhutan Living Museum, white-water rafting on the Mo Chhu river (grade I-II, suitable for ages 8+), a 160-metre suspension bridge crossing, an ema-datshi cooking class, and Tiger's Nest with the option of a pony to the cafeteria midway for kids who tire on the trail. Children 6 to 12 receive a 50% Sustainable Development Fee discount; children under 6 are exempt entirely. Mid-range hotels with family rooms.
