Wellness & Mindfulness Retreat 6 Days

A six-day retreat blending traditional Bhutanese medicine, yoga at sacred temples, monastery overnight, mindful hikes, sound baths, and the Tiger's Nest framed as walking meditation.

About this trip

Modeled on the Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary approach: a wellness-focused itinerary that uses Bhutan's ancient medicinal and contemplative traditions rather than imported spa concepts. Begins with a Bhutanese traditional medicine consultation (pulse reading) that informs the rest of the retreat. Includes one overnight at a remote nunnery (Eutok Goempa or equivalent) where you wake at 5 am for chanting alongside the resident nuns. Suitable for any fitness level; pace is deliberately gentle. Best between April and June or September through November when the weather supports outdoor yoga and meditation.
